Our Programs

Day Support – Individual and Group

A facility- and community-based service where daily activities are facilitated in a licensed day program with instructors and supervisors. Day Program events are planned in advance and keep our members active with individual or group staff to encourage independence, social integration, peer interaction, and overall health and well-being.

Our Day Support program is currently:

The Thrive Initiative

2435 Plantation Center Drive, Ste 110 Matthews, NC

This program is growing so quickly that we will be expanding in 2024.

1915i Services

Federal changes were made to Waiver funding last year, and for those without the Innovations Waiver, a new service array has been made available. 1915i services include some services similar to the Innovations Waiver services we provide. This significantly expands support for our population across the state. These services are currently rolling out with the state’s MCOs and providers. Ryan’s Place is pleased to offer these services—if you are interested in learning more, please reach out to us.

Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver (TBI)

Ryan’s Place was chosen as a fully contracted TBI Waiver provider in 2023. Our Executive Director is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.

A list of comprehensive TBI Waiver services can be found here:

Long-Term Community Supports (In Lieu of Medicaid)

Ryan’s Place is also pleased to offer Long-Term Community Supports services to those who qualify for LTCS Levels 1–5. Please note that this plan requires a doctor’s order and a physician’s signature.

Criteria for Long-Term Community Supports can be found here:
